Using the mounting rings is very simple: You press the mounting ring into a drill hole and insert the LED from behind. As with a dowel, the sides of the mounting ring are pressed apart and the LED is thus securely fastened. They allow LEDs to be mounted quickly without the hassle and possible consequences of gluing. This saves you time and avoids possible damage to the LEDs due to adhesive residue.

  1. How do I attach an LED with the mounting rings?
    Press the mounting ring into a drill hole and then insert the LED from behind. The sides of the mounting ring are pressed apart by the pressure and hold the LED securely.

  2. Can I also use the mounting rings with other LED sizes?
    No, these mounting rings were specially designed for 5mm LEDs.

  3. Do I have to pay attention to anything when inserting the LED into the mounting ring?
    The installation is very simple. Just make sure that you insert the LED evenly and do not tilt it to avoid damaging the LED.
