UV-C Quick Check dosimeter card 260-280 nm, self-adhesive
The UV-C Quick Check dosimeter card enables a quick and visual check of the UV-C irradiation dose in the 260-280 nm range. With a clearly recognizable colour change, it reliably indicates whether the required germicidal UV-C dose has been reached and thus supports the safe use of UV-C disinfection devices.
The card reacts specifically to UV-C radiation in the optimum germicidal wavelength range. The visible color change makes it easy to check and document irradiation cycles. The self-adhesive backing allows flexible positioning directly on surfaces or devices.

Advantages of the UV-C dosimeter card
The dosimeter card serves as a simple validation tool for UV-C applications. A visible tick appears at a dose of just 6 mJ/cm². As the irradiation increases, the color changes further and also clearly indicates higher doses. This allows disinfection processes to be efficiently monitored and optimized.
It is suitable for numerous areas of application such as HVAC systems, offices, schools, fitness studios, restaurants, hotels and service and transport vehicles. The dosimeter card can also be used for quick checks in aircraft or delivery vehicles.
Using the Quick Check card
To use, the protective film is removed and the card is placed on or near the surface to be disinfected. The yellow indicator surface should be aligned with the UV-C light source. After completion of the disinfection cycle, the color change is checked immediately or within 24 hours.
The card is intended for single use. It should be stored at room temperature and protected from direct sunlight.
Typical areas of application
- Buildings: HVAC, offices and public spaces
- Health: ambulance, care and service
- Mobility: Ride-share and delivery vehicles
- Aviation: airplanes and airports
- Industry: UV-C devices and disinfection systems
General information on UV-C control
UV-C radiation in the 260-280 nm range is considered to be particularly effective for inactivating microorganisms. Dosimeter cards offer a simple way of checking the actual radiation dose in the application and ensuring the effectiveness of the UV-C systems used.
FAQ on UV-C dosimeter cards
- How is the card positioned correctly?
The indicator surface must face the UV-C light source and be placed as close as possible to the surface to be disinfected.
- When should the color change be checked?
Immediately after the cycle or within 24 hours at the latest for reliable results.
- Can the dosimeter card be used several times?
No, it is designed as a disposable product and should be disposed of after use.
- Which UV-C devices is the card compatible with?
It can be used with towers, ceiling systems, upper-air devices, cabinets and hand-held devices.
- Why is it important to control the UV-C dose?
Only a sufficient dose ensures the desired germicidal effect and guarantees effective disinfection.
