Weller - A revolutionary in hand soldering

Carl E. Weller, an American radio electrician, was tired of waiting for his soldering iron to get hot enough. So in 1941 he developed a soldering technique with instantaneous heating based on a transformer. Finally, in 1945, he founded the Weller Manufacturing Company.
