FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
Which wavelength is suitable for my application?
The choice of the appropriate wavelength depends largely on your application. UV-C (265–280 nm) is often used for disinfection processes, while UV-B (295–308 nm) is used in applications such as phototherapy or material testing. UV-A (330 nm) is ideal for fluorescence applications or ink and adhesive curing. We would be happy to advise you individually.
How does the total length of the luminaire differ from the module length?
The specified lengths (300 mm, 600 mm, 900 mm, 1200 mm) refer to the active LED modules inside. The housing results in a larger overall length, which is detailed in the technical specifications.
Can I choose the radiation characteristics individually?
Yes. You can choose between four different beam angles: 14°, 20°, 60°, and 50° + 10° (oval). This allows the light to be optimally adjusted for spot, area, or linear illumination.
Is it safe to operate the UV lamp?
The light is equipped with control LEDs that indicate its operating status. However, extreme caution is required when handling UV radiation. Wear appropriate protective clothing and ensure that no unprotected contact occurs. The light may only be installed and operated by qualified personnel.
How do I place an order or request a price?
Since this is a customized product, we prepare individual quotes. Please use our inquiry form to let us know your desired specifications—e.g., wavelength, length, beam angle, and quantity. We will then contact you promptly.
